Euro 2024: the complete schedule for the round of 16

After two weeks of competition, the group stages of the Euro and their 36 matches have delivered their verdict. Now for the round of 16 of the competition, eight matches which will be held between Saturday 6 p.m. and Tuesday 9 p.m. at the rate of two matches per day.

These round of 16 will begin on Saturday. Second in its group thanks to a saving goal from Zaccagni at the end of added time, Italy faces Switzerland, who finished in second place in Group A. A meeting which will be held at 6 p.m. at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Three hours later, Germany will continue their Euro at home against Denmark, second in Group C. Kick-off at 9 p.m. in Dortmund.

On Sunday, in Gelsenkirchen, England will face Slovakia at 6 p.m., third in their group behind Romania and Belgium. At 9 p.m., Spain will challenge Georgia who secured their qualification thanks to their victory against Portugal. Kick-off at 9 p.m. in Cologne.

After these first four displays, the Blues will take the field on Monday at 6 p.m. against Belgium. It will be in Düsseldorf, scene of the French team’s first match in this Euro. Then it’s time for Portugal, first in their group, against Slovenia, who managed to escape from their group C. The match will be played in Frankfurt.

Tuesday, the last day of the round of 16 will begin with the clash between Romania, leader of group E, and the Netherlands, surprising third in the France group. At 9 p.m., Austria will face Turkey in Leipzig.

Then come the quarter-finals on July 5 and 6. On the 5th at 6 p.m., the winner of the match between Spain and Georgia will face the winner of the match between Germany and Denmark. At 9 p.m., France or Belgium will face Portugal or Slovenia. The next day at 6 p.m., the team which wins between Switzerland and Italy will face the one between England and Slovakia which will win. Three hours later, the last quarter-final of the Euro will see the winner of Romania-Netherlands and that of Austria-Turkey clash.
