So far, Spain has everything good. After its victory against Italy (1-0), this Thursday evening during the second day of Euro 2024, the Iberian selection is certain to finish at the top of group C. It currently has six points, before its last meeting group stage against Albania this Monday.
Italy, for its part, has three points. It ranks second, since the other two formations only have one. A draw will be enough for them, against Croatia on Monday, to finish second in the group and therefore ensure their participation in the round of 16.
Croats like Albanians, who drew this Wednesday (2-2), can still hope to finish in the first two. But they would need a victory, combined with an unfavorable result from their competitors in the standings.
The classification of group C after two days:
1. Spain – 6 points.
2. Italy – 3 points.
3. Albania – 1 point.
4. Croatia – 1 point.
