The first teams qualified for the round of 16 of the Euro are now awaiting their opponent. The bracket for the final phase of the Euro is taking shape game after game. So on Saturday at 6 p.m., Italy faces Switzerland at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Germany, for its Euro, will play three hours later against the second in group C (England, Denmark, Slovenia or Serbia).
The next day, at 9 p.m., Spain will play against a third place between groups A, D, E and F and Portugal will play on Monday July 1 against one of the teams which finishes third between groups A, B or C.
This table already gives some indications on the potential quarter-finals. If Germany and Spain win, these two teams can face each other, like in the semi-final of the 2010 World Cup or the final of Euro 2008.
If France finishes first in its group, it will face the second in group F, who are currently the Turks. In the event of second place, the Blues would face the runners-up in Group E, the most open group before the last day of the group stages. But above all, it would fall into a very difficult part of the table, where Spain, Germany and Portugal are already located.
