European Championship 2024 in Germany: The broadcast on TV and live stream
The number one point of contact for the upcoming European Championship is MagentaTV – the channel will show all 51 matches of the tournament live and in full on pay TV and live stream, five of them exclusively. A total of 46 matches will also be broadcast via sublicenses by the free-TV channels ARD, ZDF and RTL.
The two public broadcasters will share 34 of these games equally between them – they will broadcast all of the German national team’s games, as well as the semi-finals and the final. You can tune in as usual on free TV and in the live stream via sportschau.de or the ZDF Mediathek.
RTL is responsible for twelve matches. Most of these will be group matches, but the Cologne-based private broadcaster will also show two round of 16 matches and one quarter-final match. There will also be live streams for these matches – but RTL+ is only available with a subscription.
