The top match in European Championship Group F will take place on Saturday. After victories in the opening match, the teams from Turkey and Portugal will meet in the sold-out Dortmund stadium. The match will be broadcast on free TV.

At the European Football Championship in Germany, Portugal, including superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, will play against Turkey on the ninth day of the tournament. The two teams will meet on the second matchday of Group F on Saturday in Dortmund. It’s all about winning the group, both teams started the European Championship with a win.

Turkey is worried about its young star Arda Güler. According to the AP news agency, Turkey’s coach Vincenzo Montella said that the 19-year-old Real Madrid professional was not 100 percent physically fit and would be examined before the match. Güler scored a dream goal in Turkey’s 3-1 opening victory against Georgia, becoming the youngest goalscorer in a European Championship debut in the Dortmund stadium.

Around 45,000 Turkish fans cheered their team frenetically against Georgia (3:1) at the same venue. A similar number of supporters are expected on Saturday. Portugal’s coach Martinez does not want to call it a disadvantage, however: “The stands will be full of Turkish fans. There will be a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium.”
