Carlos Alcaraz will open the Centre Court on Monday as defending champion.

The tournament starts on Monday at 12 noon (CEST) with the first main draw matches. Traditionally, the two large courts start a little later. The Centre Court will be opened at 2:30 p.m. by last year’s winner Carlos Alcaraz against Mark Lajal. Ekaterina Alexandrova against Emma Raducanu and the US duel Caroline Dolehide against Coco Gauff complete the programme there on the first day.

Court 1, which has the second largest capacity at Wimbledon, starts at 2 p.m. The third and final match will be played by Jannik Sinner and Yannick Hanfmann, after Daniil Medvedev has played against Aleksadar Kovacevic and Emina Bektas against Aryna Sabalenka.

Sebastian Ofner represents the colors of Austria

The only Austrian in the field also starts on Monday. Sebastian Ofner will play the third match on Court 7 against the Australian Aleksandar Vukic. Here, too, a men’s and women’s singles match is scheduled beforehand.

It is expected that there will be many German fans on Court 8 and Court 16 on Monday. Jan-Lennard Struff will open on Court 8 at 12 noon against Fabian Maroszan. Eva Lys will also play the third match of the day on court eight against Clara Burel, before Maximilian Marterer will round off the day against Roberto Bautista August.

Court 16 can even present three matches with German participation. Dominik Koepfer starts at midday against Fabio Fognini and will be replaced by Daniel Altmaier, who will face local hero Arthur Fery. Tamara Korpatsch then joins in against Briton Yuriko Lily Miyazaki.
