Exploring Grosseto: A Literary Journey through the Wonders of Maremma

Grosseto: Friday 28 June at 6.30 pm at the Le Clarisse cultural center we talk about Maremma and books with Carlo Sestini and his “Reading Grosseto, the 100 Wonders (+1)”. Entrance is free: the event will be held in the Chiesa dei Bigi and will have as guests Luciana Tosti Pollini (Argia), Pietro Pettini, and the director of the Polo, Mauro Papa. The book, enriched by photos by Riccardo De Luca, is an immersion in a unique land, in a city that is its most genuine image, is a discovery of the many possibilities and the many interchangeable options.

«Browsing through this volume – declares Sestini – allows you to explore the Grosseto of Carlo Cassola and Luciano Bianciardi, of the city where the Italian spoken by Andrea da Grosseto, who was the teacher of the father of the language par excellence, Dante Alighieri, developed. Living it with its wonders means weaving the threads of the past and present with those of the future.”
