Fabio Corbani is officially the new head coach of Novipiù Monferrato Basket. He joins the rossoblù club on a three-year contract

Born in Milan on 23 March 1966, an expert, charismatic coach with a profound knowledge of basketball, specialized in working with young prospects. Corbani has 4 junior championships in his palmares, two with Olimpia Milano and two with Treviso, a silver and a European gold as assistant of the Under 20 national team.

He began his career in the Milan youth sector and remained there until 1999, also holding the position of head of the youth sector and assistant of the First Team in Serie A. In the following seasons he held the role of head coach at Casalpusterlengo and Aironi Novara. From 2006 to 2010 he moved to Treviso as manager of the youth sector and assistant of the first team.

Corbani returns to be head coach in A2 in Piacenza in the 2011/12 season, Biella in 2013/15 where he won the Legadue Italian Cup, in the first part of the 2015/16 season he leads Cantù in the LBA and Europe Cup, then in Rome with Virtus (2016/17) and Eurobasket (2018/19) and Orzinuovi in ​​2019/21.

He joins the technical staff of the Swiss national team, as an assistant, for the 2021 European Qualification Rounds in Georgia. In 2022 he became Francesco Vitucci’s assistant at Brindisi in Serie A, where he was promoted to head coach at the end of the season, a role he held until last October.
