Acqua S.Bernardo Pallacanestro Cantù announces that it has signed, with an annual contract and an option for the 2025-26 season, the athlete Fabio Valentini.
Born in 1999, Valentini is 185 centimeters tall, weighing 84 kg. A playmaker gifted with great flair and a dangerous long-range shot, he is equally effective in freeing up his teammates with his assists.

THE CARREER
Fabio is the son and grandson of artists because both his father Andrea and his grandfather Claudio, who also spent time in Cantù during his career, were professional basketball players. A native of Casale Monferrato, he grew up in the Junior youth teams. He made his debut, very young, in the first team in the 2014-15 season. Starting from the 2016-17 season, he began to be a permanent part of the A2 roster, earning more and more minutes year after year until reaching 10.7 points on average in the 2020-21 season. After another year in Casale, he moved to Forlì. In Romagna he experienced his best year in terms of scoring, with 11.8 points and 2.5 assists on average. He remained with the red and whites also in the season just ended, almost reaching double figures on average in the playoffs.
