AVEZZANO. The complaint has been formalized against the 48-year-old who attacked his 54-year-old brother on Saturday evening due to old family grudges. Yesterday morning the older brother’s lawyer filed the complaint attaching the video recordings of the bar where the clash between the two took place. The footage of what happened just before 7.50pm on Saturday in a bar in Via Roma will be useful to the police to reconstruct all the steps of the argument between the brothers. The 54-year-old’s lawyer, Roberto Verdecchia, also asked the competent authorities to take appropriate measures against the 48-year-old. The latter, after the insults directed at his son by his older brother, went looking for him with a baseball bat and found him in a bar in the city. There he started hitting him while his brother threw a beer bottle at him. The argument continued outside the bar until the police from the Avezzano Company arrived. The older brother ended up in the emergency room with a 25-day prognosis, a fractured collarbone, chest trauma and several wounds. The complaint against the 48-year-old was formalized yesterday with the request to take appropriate measures. (eb)
