Hoeneß and Schmidt are the deciding factors
“It’s good for both of them when they can train and play at the highest level. A big factor are the two coaches: Frank Schmidt in Heidenheim and Sebastian Hoeneß in Stuttgart. Even though both youngsters will not be playing in Munich for the time being, the goal remains to integrate the talents into the record champions.
“We all still have the examples of David Alaba and Phillip Lahm in the back of our minds,” said Kumberger. And he continued: “One was loaned to Hoffenheim, the other to VfB – it worked out wonderfully there.”
