FC Twente will start its first training sessions next week in the run-up to the new season. Leon ten Voorde knows that FC Twente will train with an almost complete selection.
“There are a lot of players. Few players have left. Sampsted has had international matches with Iceland. He is on holiday and is not there yet. Sayfallah Ltaief was also given holiday because he played with Algeria, but he himself indicated that he wants to join. He wants to integrate. He will be there next week,” says Ten Voorde at De Ballen Verstand of TC Tubantia.
The most notable absentee is what should have been a European Championship participant. “And then Michal Sadílek is not there. He would not be there anyway because of the European Championship, but because of his injury he is not there now anyway.”
