First meeting between Ursula von der Leyen, Antonio Costa and Kaja Kallas after the European Council gave the green light to the three top EU jobs last night. The outgoing president of the Commission announced the meeting in a tweet with language borrowed from baseball. “Touch down for Antonio Costa in Brussels and first touch base (first interface, ed.) together with Kaja Kallas.
