France Télévisions Sets Historic Audience Records with 2024 Roland-Garros Tournament Coverage

France Télévisions once again confirms, with the Roland-Garros Tournament, its position as the leading media partner of the biggest sporting events.

The exceptional mobilization of the antennas from 11.00 a.m. and continuously until the end of the matches, an expanded offer with all the posters of the day on all the courts, supplemented by an exhaustive digital offer, allows France Télévisions to achieve historic audiences on this 2024 edition.

* 43.3 million French people watched at least one minute of the Roland Garros Tournament this year.

This is a historic record and an increase of 2.8 million compared to 2023 (40.5 million) and 1.4 million compared to the previous record of 2022 (41.9 million).

* On average on France 2 in the afternoons: 1.82 million viewers and 20.4% audience share

Roland Garros allowed France 2 to be the audience leader of the day on three occasions during this fortnight: Monday 27 at 18.4% (Nadal-Zverev day), Friday 7 at 17.8% ( men’s semi-finals) and yesterday at 21.2% (men’s final).

* Magnificent, well-attended finales:

Alcaraz-Zverev final: 4,348,000 viewers for 36.6% PdA Peak at 7.3M on match point and 16M viewers over the entire match, a record since the 2012 final

Swiatek-Paolini final: 2,106,000 and 25.8% audience share Evening shifts on France 3: 1.82 million Strong increase compared to 2023: 1.52 million

* At its highest on Monday June 3 at 3.5M with a peak of 4.5M on the Djokovic-Cerundolo match point

* The power of digital platforms: 28.6 million videos viewed (qualifying + fortnight), a historic record and an increase of 18% compared to 2023.
