Frans Krätzig set for loan move to VfB Stuttgart from FC Bayern Munich

Frans Krätzig (21) is considered a promising talent at FC Bayern Munich. The left-back spent the spring on loan at Austria Vienna in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, where he was able to shine, especially at the beginning.

Now a loan to a bigger club is on the cards. According to “Sky” reporter Kerry Hau, the German is about to go on a one-year loan to German runners-up VfB Stuttgart. The whole thing is supposed to include a purchase option. The Swabians and the player have already reached an agreement. The clubs are working out the final details.

At VfB he would be planned as a backup for DFB team player Maximilian Mittelstädt.

Krätzig’s contract in Munich runs until 2027. The homegrown player played seven times for the club in 2023, but the prospect of playing time is currently slim. In Austria, he played 17 games for Austria Vienna.
