French Athletes from Picardy Chosen to Compete in Paris 2024 Olympic Games

On Thursday, June 27, the Olympic Selection Advisory Commission (CCSO) met to validate the participation of French athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Among them, two Picards.

The recent good performances of the Samarian Thomas Chirault during international archery competitions, logically allowing him to be part of the French selection. He will compete in the men’s individual events as well as the men’s and mixed team events. Baptiste Addis and Jean-Charles Valladont with whom he won a silver medal during the World Cup round in Antalya (Turkey) will accompany him.

The golfer Perrine Delacour (75th in the world), a native of Laon, was chosen to represent France during the women’s golf event. Céline Boutier (6th in the world) is the other French selection.
