George Springer’s Two Three-Run Homers Lead Blue Jays Past Yankees 9-2

George Springer hit two three-run homers Thursday night in Toronto as the Blue Jays cruised to a 9-2 victory over the New York Yankees in the opener of a best-of-four series.

The game was presented on TVA Sports. Legendary Quebec pitcher Claude Raymond was there to analyze the game.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. also did well in the victory, hitting his 11th home run of the season and collecting two RBIs (to see in main video).

Jays starting pitcher Jose Berrios (7-6) picked up the win after working seven innings, giving up just two hits and runs while recording eight strikeouts.

Left-hander Carlos Rodon (9-5) took the loss for the Yankees.
