The Sports Festival will take place on Sunday 30 June at the sports fields in via Suppo, while on Saturday 29 June from 4pm to 7pm the volleyball Open day will take place at the Alveare verde park
Avigliana, 20 June 2024 – From 3.30pm to 7.30pm Sunday 30 June 2024 to sports facilities in via Suppo 10 the Sports Council organizes the Sports Festival in collaboration with the Sports Department of the Municipality of Avigliana which sponsored the initiative. It will be possible to attend sporting demonstrations and exhibitions but also to try, participate and play throughout the day with the proposals of the sporting associations present.
«At the end of a sporting year full of events and above all fun and participation – declares Rossella Morra, Councilor for Sport – we are happy to offer the people of Avigliano an overview of all the activities present in the area. Here I would like to thank all the operators and technicians of the associations who offer the possibility of living an educational experience based on sports practice, which is in all respects a laboratory of participation in active citizenship.”

It was born as an inclusive practice, guaranteeing everyone the opportunity to play. The outdoor activity in via Matteotti makes the practice visible and further disseminated. Thanks therefore to all the players, coaches and above all to the parents who, with their commitment, make the participation of the children possible.”
With the arrival of summer, the training sessions of the Baskin team of the Polisportiva Avigliana basketball continue outdoors in the renovated playground in via Matteotti. The initiative is much appreciated by athletes and families for the environment and the festive spirit that characterizes it. Playing in the park is also a great opportunity to promote inclusive sport.
