A member of the Altus Academy at the Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil, Pierre Pineau is playing the Challenge Tour tournament this week at the same venue. Having put in some good performances in recent weeks, the young man, who will soon be 25, is aiming to move up to the European Tour next season.
“You are playing at home this week, at Vaudreuil, is that an advantage for you?
It’s an advantage because even if I play badly, I’ll get through it. Afterwards, I didn’t grow up here, the course, I know it very well, but it’s not the one I played the most when I was young. It’s especially the Challenge Tour set-up that changes a little from what we usually play. I have an advantage, I know the track very well but it’s not necessarily the one I play all year.
