Handball: PSG and Metz spared by the draw for the next Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain is doing quite well. This Thursday, the capital’s handball club discovered the names of its future opponents during the draw for the next Champions League. The Parisians were placed in group A alongside the Hungarians of Veszprem, the only top of the group.

The French champion was luckier than Nantes, the other team that qualified for the competition. In Group B, the Loire-Atlantique club will face FC Barcelona, ​​the defending champion, the Germans from Magdeburg, the Danes from Aalborg, both also in the Final Four in June, as well as the Poles from Kielce.

Among the girls, Messines, national champions, were lucky, like PSG. In group A, they will be the only ones to have participated in the final four of 2024. They were beaten by the Germans from Bietigheim during the Final Four.
