“Already, as soon as he is in the final of a Grand Slam, he wins. But what I really liked were his variations which allowed him to destabilize a Zverev who was a little exhausted at the end and emotionally inside. But Alcaraz had a complete slump at 5–2 in the third and he must win in four! He has an extraordinary hand, he is capable of making sumptuous volleys when Alexander does not know how to play with the ball at all. Carlos can accelerate, put power into his forehand… and he’s playful! He loves the game. He’s a fantastic guy for tennis because he plays with the crowd, he’s so happy to be on the court that it feels good. We’re tired of guys being loud. »
