Good morning friends of OA Sport and welcome to the textual live broadcast of Motocross MXGP, GP Indonesia 2024, balanced challenge between Gajser, Herlings and Prado.
In the qualifying race of MXGPJorge Prado got off to a poor start, finishing in the middle group while Tim Gajser and Jeffrey Herlings dominated from the start. Andrea Bonacorsi was involved in a dangerous accident at the second corner, which caused a spectacular fall for Mattia Guadagnini, fortunately without serious consequences.
Gajser drove for a while, but then Herlings took the lead and held it until the end. Behind them, Prado made a great comeback, overtaking Gajser towards the end of the race. Despite a late push by Prado, Herlings deservedly won followed by Prado and Gajser on the podium. Jeremy Seewer and Calvin Vlaanderen completed the top five.
