With a home win and an away win, the semifinals of the “Joaquín Febre” Provincial Basketball Tournament in the First Division for Men were completed this Friday: on the one hand, All Boys won the Santa Rosa derby against Estudiantes and on Sunday they face Atlético Villegas, while Sportivo Realicó celebrated in visiting territory because they beat Belgrano and will now face Pico Football Club.
At the All Boys stadium and in front of a good crowd, the local team quickly took advantage from the opening jump (35-4 in the first quarter) and no longer gave Celeste a chance to finish with a 90-45 victory. Francisco Bonaguro scored 20 points and Lucio González 16 in the winner. On the visit, Santiago Orueta added 16 points. Partials: 35-4, 55-16, 75-33 and 90-45. Auriazul will host Atlético Villegas on Sunday (they eliminated Cultural Argentino de Pico) in one of the semis, at 8 p.m.
At the Belgrano gymnasium, the game was much more even and Sportivo took all the celebration to the north by winning 89 to 80 with the great performance of Joaquín Constantini, who was the top scorer with 27 points. Mariano Zárate and Matías Rigol, with 16 each, stood out for the Tricolor. Partial scores: 19-20, 39-47, 60-66 and 80-89. On Sunday at 8 pm, the Realiquenses face the Decano in the Angel Larrea Park in search of a ticket to the final.
