Honoring Dedication and Commitment: Sylvain Girerd-Chanel and Jean-Paul Roche Recognized at Loire Committee Meeting

At the end of the general meeting of the Loire committee held in Feurs, Sylvain Girerd-Chanel and Jean-Paul Roche were honored.

Sylvain Girerd-Chanel received the Master Michigami bronze medal for his investment in the club for more than 30 years, leading the judokas and as secretary.

Jean-Paul Roche was awarded the Master Kawaichi gold medal for his 45 years of teaching and commitment to the club, to the Loire committee where he shares his passion, and his values for the transmission of his knowledge . His teaching and assistant training allowed him to accompany competitors to the French championships and even, in 2012, to the European cadet championships and also to train 150 black belts from 1st to 4th Dan.

For their part, Meissan Jaouhari and Léa Cottier achieved a great performance by validating the CQP Martial arts instructor judo-jujitsu option, representing an immense amount of work in training at the Maison du Judo de Lyon and put into practice at the club with their tutor Jean- Paul Roche. Both come to strengthen the club’s teaching team after having passed the tests for their 2nd dan black belt.
