Julian Hörl and Alexander Horst will face the reigning world champions David Schweiner/Ondrej Perusic from the Czech Republic, the Brazilian ex-world champions Evandro/Arthur and the Canadians Sam Schachter/Daniel Dearing in the group phase of the Summer Olympics in Paris. This was the result of the draw on Friday next to the Eiffel Tower. Subject to nomination by the ÖOC, the duo would be Austria’s only entry in the beach volleyball in Paris.
