“I can’t understand the coach’s choices”: where is Belgium really in this Euro 2024?

Beaten by the Blues in the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 Nations League, Belgium will cross their path again, this Monday, July 1 (6 p.m.), in the round of 16 of the Euro. Like France, the Red Devils experienced a sluggish first round (2nd in their group, two goals scored, one conceded) and raised a lot of questions from their followers and supporters who did not hesitate to whistle them after the draw against Ukraine. Philippe Léonard, former Belgian international (26 caps) who played for Monaco and Nice, takes his look at this team which is no longer as strong as in the past.
