Immanuel Quickley, towards a five-year extension for $175 million in Toronto

The adventure will continue in Toronto for Immanuel Quickley (25 years old). The American leader should extend for a period of five years and $175 million, according to information from ESPN journalist Adrian Wojnarowski, published Friday on the X platform.

Quickley arrived in Toronto at the end of December with his New York teammate RJ Barrett, as part of a trade with OG Anunoby. The American quickly became a major player for the Canadian franchise, compiling 18.6 pts, 4.8 rebounds and 6.8 pd in 33.3 minutes on average in the red and black jersey.

After Scottie Barnes (22) on Monday, Quickley will be the second young player to be extended in a few days. His contract will take effect at the end of next season, and will extend until 2030.
