Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time in the third practice session on a dry track ahead of Verstappen and Russell.
In the last practice, the teams had their hands full. Track conditions were variable on Friday, so there was a lot to catch up on.
Red flags were raised shortly after practice began. Chou lost control of the car in the first corner, spun and crashed the rear of the car into the barrier.
The riders focused mainly on longer rides, which will also be important for determining the strategy. One to two pit stops are expected.
With ten minutes to go, Alex Albon had contact with the wall of champions. He was able to get to the pits on his own, but training was over for him. At the end of practice, Max Verstappen also had a slight contact with the wall.
