Now Indonesia’s potential opponents in the semifinals have been narrowed down to four countries, namely Cambodia, Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.

Indonesia will face Cambodia, the runner-up of Group B if the country becomes the best runner-up.

Meanwhile, if the best runner up is not from Group B, then Indonesia will meet the winner of Group C, which will be contested by Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.

For now, Thailand is at the top of Group C with four points and only superior on goal difference to Australia. Meanwhile, Malaysia, which is in third place with 3 points, can still reach the leader of the standings.

In today’s match, Saturday (29/6), Thailand will face Malaysia and Australia will meet Timor Leste.

The 2024 AFF U-16 Cup was attended by 12 countries. All participants were divided into three groups containing four countries each.
