JUARA.NET – Indonesian women’s doubles, Jestia Putri Miantoro/Febi Setianingrum defeated the host’s representatives, Sung Shuo Yun/Yu Chien Hui in the final of the 2024 Kaohsiung Masters.
The match which took place on Sunday (23/6/2024) at K-Arena, Taiwan opened with a long rally.
The final point was secured by the Red-White representatives.
They got the first point after the opponent failed to return the ball perfectly.
Getting the first point, Jesita/Febi were practically able to maintain their superior momentum.
Sung/Yu’s own mistake made them both narrowly ahead, 4-3.
The Red-White pair widened the position at 6-4.
Things got even more difficult for the home women’s doubles who made their own mistakes, 7-4.
Finally, Jesita/Febi’s breakthrough put them both ahead 11-5 in the first game interval.
