LOU continues its recruitment for next season. This week, the Lyonnais recorded five new recruits, including pillar Cedate Gomes Sa to compensate for the departure of Demba Bamba. At the end of his contract with Racing 92, the club with which he began his professional career in 2014, Gomes Sa (30 years old, 10 caps) has decided to join LOU for the next two seasons, as announced two weeks ago.

This season, the French international has played 21 matches, including 8 as a starter. Lyon will be able to benefit from the nine seasons in the Top 14 of the right pillar. Since his professional debut at Racing 92, he has won the Top 14 once in 2016 and participated in three European Cup finals (2016, 2018, 2020). The LOU concluded this arrival after the formalizations of Tomas Lavanini, Beka Shvangiradze, Sam Matavesi and Steeve Blanc-Mappaz in recent days.
