The four competitions of the most important 11-a-side high school football tournament in Italy, the Italian Football Cup, which includes Milano Football Cup, Roma Football Cup, Verona Football Cup and Como Football Cup, have come to an end. The winners will face each other Milan Arena tomorrow, Saturday 8 June. The first semi-final is scheduled for 4.00 pm between the Moreschi high school of Milan and the Sant’Elia high school of Como. The second at 7.00 pm between the Scientifico Talete in Rome and the Liceo Stimate in Verona. The winners will face each other in the final on Sunday evening at 8.00 pm.
The four tournaments were a success that went beyond all expectations. Milano Football Cup in particular (now in its third edition involving 65% of high schools) had an influx of audiences in the various states of over 20,000 spectators. Views on the Milano Football Cup social profiles have exceeded 2 million. A success that generated top-level media coverage. Between the four tournaments, 724 players were involved and 85 matches were played.
The tournaments aimed to replicate the organization of professional football matches. From the game reports, to the insurance, to the warm up, to the regulation pitches, to the stadiums equipped with stands to accommodate the large crowd, to the VAR, to the commentary, to the highlights, to the interviews, to the photo gallery and to the social activities.
