Italy Fails to Medal in European Cadet Judo Championships Team Event

The fourth and final day of the match ends with a negative result for the Azzurri European Cadet Judo Championships 2024played on the tatami of the Asics Arena in Sofia (Bulgaria). Our only success came in the first round, 4-1 against Cyprus, thanks to points scored by Iulia Airola Granaci (-48 kg), Giuseppe Gesuele (-60 kg), Andrea Mocerino (-81 kg) and Paris (+63 kg). The Italian team then lost in the quarterfinals against the Netherlands and in the repechage against Azerbaijan, again 4-1. Gold medal for France, who prevailed in the play-off in the final against Turkey. Bronze for Germany and Poland.
