The third day of the tournament ends without any highlights for Italy European Cadet Judo Championships 2024currently taking place on the tatami of the Asics Arena in Sofia (Bulgaria). Today the last individual titles of the continental Under 18 event were assigned, with the heavy categories as protagonists, while tomorrow the Team Event will take place.
The only Italian competing today in the women’s field, Rachele Paris, defeated the Bosnian Ana Lasic on her debut in the +70 kg category and then lost to the French Leonie Minkada-Caquineau in the quarterfinals and to the Czech Anna Krouzkova in the repechage. Also eliminated in the repechage Leonardo Copat in the -81 kg, while they exited the scene in the first round Alex Carta (always not -81 kg), Tiziano Russo (-90 kg) and Yossef Boutrig (-90 kg).
