A chance of a medal disappears for Ivory Coast. Engaged during the last Olympic qualifying tournament to try to win his ticket for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Franck Eyeni was not enough to snatch the precious ticket.
The Ivorian archer finished far away. Tied for 57th, he will not be present at the Olympic Games.
“Franck Eyeni was involved in the last Olympic qualification tournament to try to win his ticket. Unfortunately, despite all his efforts, it was not enough“, we read on the page of his club, the Arc Club de Nîmes.
Ivory Coast will therefore not have a representative in archery. The last quota and universality places have already been allocated.
The quota list for Paris is now complete 128 archers from 53 countries – with final entries expected over the next two weeks. Competition at the 2024 Olympic Games will begin with qualifications on July 25.
