Jade Ulutule, international at 15 and 7, retires at 31

It is an executive of the women’s rugby teams, 15-a-side and 7-a-side, who is due to bow out this Friday. The French Rugby Federation (FFR) has indicated the end of the career of Jade Ulutule-Le Pesq (19 caps, 31 years old) for “health reasons”. No additional details were released.

A well-stocked list of achievements

The French three-quarter centre, who played for Auckland (2012) and currently plays for Stade Rennais, had her first selection in 2013 during the Six Nations Tournament against Italy. With Les Bleues, she won the bronze medal at the 2017 World Cup as well as the 2018 Grand Slam. This year, Ulutule-Le Pesq was due to take part in the Olympic Games but had to withdraw.
