Joinville Judo Club Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Reorganization and New Leadership

After celebrating its 50th anniversary in June 2023, the Joinville Judo Club was reorganized last April with the arrival of a new team on the board of directors.

It was then decided that the transfer of power between the former (Aurore Marchand who remains vice-president) and the new president (Jean-Paul Baillet) would take place during the presentation of medals and diplomas. Although there was no speech to make it official, the ceremony held on Wednesday afternoon, June 26 at the Fair-Play sports complex was festive.

It began with demonstrations on the tatami mats led and commented by Pascal Petit, which were warmly applauded by the many parents.

The president at the end of her term and the educator, with Anaëlle Viard (another educator) and Michel Brier (keystone of the judo school who obtained his black belt in 2023 at the age of 70) at their side), called the 24 recipients to present them with the new belt, the corresponding grade diploma and that of the moral code recalling the educational values of this discipline.
