Judo Club Muri took part in the National Judo and Ju-Jitsu Day 2024

Last Saturday, June 22, 2024, the National Judo & Ju-Jitsu Day took place in the Wankdorf Hall in Bern. Like last year, some members of the Judo Club Muri were there this year.
Four young people/children and three adults set off for Bern early on Saturday morning, still a little tired but excited about what was to come. When they arrived in Bern, they had a little refreshment. After all the judokas had put on their kimonos, they made their way to the hall. The entire hall was covered with a large tatami area. After the official welcome and the clarification of the procedure, the first technique lesson began. The day was structured so that there were a total of two technical lessons in the morning. The same in the afternoon. There was a choice of different topics.
As the morning slowly drew to a close, a group photo was taken of the 400 participants of the National Judo & Ju-Jitsu Day. A demonstration of various katas was also shown. Then everyone went on a lunch break together. During the lunch break, there was also the opportunity to take part in a calligraphy workshop.
In the afternoon, participants were able to benefit again from two different technical training sessions.
Tired and with many new impressions and new techniques, we made our way back home to Aargau.
