Judo Event Brings Together Young Athletes for End-of-Year Exam

Saturday June 1, 68 young people born in 2018-2019 and beginners born in 2017 gathered at the Eurville-Bienville gymnasium for judo meetings.

They came from the sections of Marnaval and Ancerville, the socio-cultural center of Saint-Dizier, Chevillon, Eclaron, Eurville-Bienville, Haironville, Humbécourt, Montier-en-Der and Villiers-en-Lieu.

The meetings were held in two groups: the smallest and the largest with points awarded to each, for a total of points in the events of 90 maximum.

The events offered were back falls, belt knots, an oral with five judo words to know, ground and standing technique and randori (free exercise oriented towards attack). They will serve as an end-of-year grade passage exam. Each of the children received a medal in the presence of the parents, the president of the Marnaval Judo club, Eugène Perez, who was thanked for lending the tatamis, and the mayor of Eurville-Bienville, Virginie Gérévic, for having available the gymnasium. Technical arbitration was provided by the technical managers, Julien Allibert and youngest, Francis Ladeira, and two juniors from the technical school allowing their ability to be judged, accompanied in recording the results and assessment by Marie-Christine Monnet and Denis Martin .
