Kansas City Chiefs Expected to Release Defensive End Isaiah Buggs following Arrests

According to the network’s Adam Schefter ESPNthe Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly preparing to release defensive end Isaiah Buggs

Buggs was arrested for a second time on June 16 for domestic violence and burglary.

Last May 30, he turned himself in to the Tuscaloosa County Jail on Thursday after receiving allegations of animal abuse towards two dogs.

The dogs were allegedly found in the backyard of one of his properties and appeared malnourished at the time. One of the dogs needed to be euthanized.

Aged 27, the Chiefs player has played 5 seasons in the NFL so far with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Detroit Lions. He had been a member of the recent Super Bowl champions’ organization since January.
