The Kansas City Chiefs received the ring marking their third Super Bowl victory in five years on Thursday, but the jewelry also appears to come with a fault.
Several Internet users noticed that the 14.8-carat object adorned with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies contained an error. Inside the oval are the teams the Chiefs defeated during their playoff run, but the Miami Dolphins don’t have the right seed.

The Florida team finished sixth in the American Association with its 11-6 record. However, on the ring, a small “7” has been engraved. The error is visible on graphics showing all the details of the ring, but also in a presentation video.
I’ve only seen this one graphic so far, but… the Dolphins were definitely the 6-seed! https://t.co/kgWp2qlQZr pic.twitter.com/FWrZm0NXZ0

The @Chiefs really gave all their players rings with a typo….Miami was a 6 seed, not a 7. Oof 😂 https://t.co/jDrh5oTa58 pic.twitter.com/HUXNbyoUsY

However, it is impossible to know if this stupid mistake crept into the rings that the players received.
Remember that the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII by beating the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 25 to 22 on February 11.
