Lance Stroll extends several seasons with Aston Martin

Aston Martin is in place at least until the end of the 2026 season. After Fernando Alonso at the start of the year, the Silverstone team announced the extension of Lance Stroll for at least two seasons under the direction of his father, Lawrence, owner of Aston Martin. The 25-year-old Canadian has been playing with the team since 2019 (after two seasons with Williams) when it was called Racing Point after the buyout by his billionaire father. In 2021, the name Aston Martin appeared.

In 153 Grand Prix starts, Stroll has one pole position and three podiums, but none since 2020. This season, he has only scored four points in ten races and sits 11th in the Championship with 17 points.
