LeBron James Willing to Take Pay Cut to Recruit Star Players for Lakers

LeBron James wants to indulge in the whim of holding the Larry O’Brien Trophy again. Despite predictions that he would be signing a three-year, $162 million contract – the richest of his career – the Los Angeles Lakers’ #23 is reportedly looking to take a pay cut to encourage the signing of other stars.

The names are of important players. King James would have suggested to the franchise scouting for veterans like James Harden, Klay Thompson and Jonas Valanciunas: all three are Unrestricted Free Agent (I can negotiate without restrictions with the franchises), they are aiming for a new contract in Free Agency perhaps to help LeBron win the 5th ring of his career without him regretting the 162 million.

The most suitable profile for the Lakers could be that of Thompson4 times NBA Champion, now out of the Golden State Warriors (a break very similar to other superstars of the past) and which other franchises have also set their sights on. We are talking about the Orlando Magic and the Denver Nuggets, committed to shoring up the roster with the aim of returning to winning like in 2023.

Free Agency Officially Begins Tonighton a warm summer evening when you will see lots of fireworks.
