Legal Action Pending: Judge to Decide Fate of Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Dak Prescott

A hearing on September 13 will determine whether legal action will be taken against the accuser.

County Judge Collin, Texas, Angela Tuckerdismissed this Wednesday the sexual assault lawsuit against Dak Prescottstar quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.

“Despite the tireless efforts of Ms. Shores and her legal team to extort and damage the reputation of Dakjustice has consistently prevailed and will continue to do so,” said the attorney for PrescottLevi McCathern.

The incident involving the quarterback dates back to March 2017, when a woman (Victoria Shores) accused him of sexually assaulting her.

Through his lawyers, The woman wrote a letter in which she asked the quarterback for 100 million dollars in exchange for not revealing details or filing criminal charges in the case.

That same month the police of dallas investigation into an alleged rape began Prescott against that woman, who eventually filed a lawsuit in court.

One month later, the Dallas Police Department reported that they would not file sexual assault charges against the player after detectives determined there was insufficient evidence that he had committed a crime.

On April 17, the lawsuit was dismissed at the request of the plaintiff, who preferred to file a new complaint with Collin County, which was dismissed on Wednesday.

“These ploys distract from the trauma of legitimate survivors of sexual assault and undermine the progress our society has made to support them. We are proud that Dak oppose this injustice and we appreciate that the judge Tucker “I agree,” Levi McCathern added.

Now the judge scheduled a hearing for next September 13 in which she will determine whether legal action will be taken against the accusing party.
