Edvīns Dāvidsons worked for Latvian Television (LTV) for more than 50 years. Davidson is vividly remembered by the general public with his LTV news stories about sports. According to LTV, he started working at the News Service in 1963 and for the first 13 years, much to the surprise of many, he worked at “Panorama”, where he created stories mainly about industry. In 1976, a vacancy arose in the sports department, for which Davidson also applied, becoming a legend in the field of his time. Sport has always been Davidson’s passion.
