It is the wing-pivot Luca Giacomo Rinaldi who leaves the Griffins after just one season. Born in Milan on 5 December 1996, Rinaldi is a 202cm centre-forward. He began playing basketball at the age of 11 in Paullo (MI) and remained there for a couple of years. At 14 he tried to change the scene and played for a season in the ABC Basket Crema sector. The following season, Luca, in agreement with his family, embarked on the definitive life of a basketball player and moved to La Spezia in Liguria and from 2013 to 2016 he played several championships with the Basket Follo jersey, scoring 320 points in 28 appearances with an average of 11.4; the following year he returned to Lombardy and for a couple of seasons he played in Mantua with a double membership and made his debut in Serie A2 in the 2016-2017 season and divided his time between Pallacanestro Mantovana and San Pio that year between the two clubs he played 25 games scoring 184 points with an average of 7.4; the following year he returned close to home and played in the Serie C Gold championship wearing the Basket Team Enrico Battaglia vest and closed the season with the Pavia team, playing 36 games, scoring 385 points with an average of 10.7. From the 2018-2019 season until 2020-2021 he was hired by Virtus Lumezzane with whom he played in the Serie C Gold championship and in the 3 seasons in Brescia he scored 613 points in 73 games equal to an average of 8.4. In the 2022-2023 season Rinaldi plays for a season in Brianza and is hired by Bernareggio; while in the now concluded season he was a protagonist in the Interregional Serie B with the Mazzoleni Pizzighettone shirt, and on the banks of the Adda he played 31 matches with a total of 292 points equal to an average of 9.4 points. According to the latest news, Rinaldi has been contacted in recent days by the Venetian team Oderzo Basket, a team he faced in the season just ended in the Gold play-in phase.
