Sources revealed to ESPN that Luka Doncic received a painkiller injection before Game 2 of the Finals.
DALLAS — The superstar of the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic, received a painkilling injection to numb the area of his chest contusion before the defeat of dallas before the Boston Celtics in Game 2 on Sunday, sources revealed to ESPN this Tuesday.
The expectation is that Doncic receive another injection before Game 3 Wednesday, sources added, as the Mavs try to get their first win of the series.

Doncic was downgraded to questionable the afternoon of Game 2 and was not considered available until after completing his pregame warmup. Doncic has played in all 19 of the Mavs’ playoff games, leading all players in several statistical categories this postseason, including points (551), rebounds (185), assists (162), steals (7) and minutes (786). ).
