Marius Weber saw his last wish come true and died peacefully

The seriously ill Marius Weber from Hoogerheide has died. The poet and photographer is 72 years old. Recently his great wish, publication of a book with his most beautiful poems and photos, came true. In tribute, friends and neighbors take over the presentation of the book: ‘A fool’s circle is square.’

At the beginning of this month, the sick Marius was still proudly leafing through a proof of his book: ‘A fool’s circle is square’. It was his great wish to publish a book with his most beautiful poems and photos.

The book brings together his passions for writing, poetry and photography. Marius did not want the hundreds of photos and poems to end up in the garbage dump after his death.

Marius had wanted to make a book for a long time, but his illness accelerated his intention. Good friend and neighbor Jan Luysterburg helped Marius with this.

Marius dedicates the book to his wife, who passed away a few months ago. On her deathbed he promised his wife to finish the book. “The book is my last greeting to anyone who wants to see it,” Marius said at the time.

Marius was said goodbye in a small circle on Wednesday.
