Mercato: Mathys Tourraine, Grenoble defender, first recruit from Paris FC

A double whammy. This Friday, Paris FC secured its right-back position. Sofiane Alakouch, author of a very convincing first part of the season before being stopped by a rupture of the cruciate ligaments in December, extended his contract until 2026. An agreement was reached with Metz (L2) who had loaned this season to Paris FC.

At the start of the evening, the transfer of Mathys Tourraine, right side of Grenoble (L2) was made official by his former club. Trained in Monaco, Tourraine, 23, was one of the revelations of this season in L2. Having become a Moroccan U23 international, he was followed by several clubs, including Saint-Γ‰tienne (L1) and Caen (L2). It is therefore Paris FC which has been the most convincing. On August 12, during Grenoble – Paris FC (2-0), Tourraine scored a magnificent goal after a long raid. A goal which was also named among the best of the L2 season at the UNFP trophies.

Chergui to extend, Gory leaves

The extension of Alakouch and the arrival of Tourraine will result in the very probable departure of Yves Dabila who had been helping out perfectly in the right-back position since January. At the end of the contract, he did not find common ground with management. Alamami Gory, who had the best season of his career (7 goals, 8 assists), will not extend either. Approached by Saint-Γ‰tienne (L1), he mainly received big offers from abroad (English D2, Emirates). Discussions continue with the other players at the end of their contract, Samir Chergui, with whom an agreement is close, and Cyril Mandouki, for whom it is more complicated.
