Mexican Baseball League Signs Collaboration Agreement with Korean Baseball Organization

A delegation of directors from the Mexican Baseball League (LMB)headed by Horacio de la Vega Flores, Executive President of the circuittraveled this weekend to Seoul, capital of the Republic of Korea to meet with Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) and sign a collaboration agreement for sports, broadcasting and business issues between both leagues.

De la Vega did not travel alone, because together with him, Bernardo Pasquel accompanied him, president of El Águila de Veracruz, Gonzalo Medina, president of the Olmecs of Tabasco, and Guillermo González Elizondo, president of the Sultans of Monterrey.

This meeting follows the agreements recently concluded with the NPB of Japan, reflecting the growing importance of the Asian market for LMB. In the meetings, a collaboration agreement project focused on sports, broadcasting and business issues was addressed. In addition, plans were projected for joint activities between clubs from both leagues and preparation games for the Selections Nationals of Mexico and South Korea.

This visit represents a significant step in the internationalization strategy of the Mexican Baseball League, strengthening ties with one of the most important leagues in Asian baseball and opening new opportunities for collaboration and growth for both organizations.
